I just want to start this by saying… I am perfectly imperfect…
I am loved by the most high God and he loves you too! There is so much grace in his love- We can never repay or earn his love. We can only open our arms and accept this amazing love blissfully; the amazing gift of life he so loving chooses to bestow upon us daily.
Everyday I have been thinking how I wanted the direction of my blog to go- but that was my first mistake because it is not my blog.I am trying to learn how to just live by faith and lord let me tell you- this is harder than peeling ostrich eggs!
I believe that God wants me to use this blog in a few ways:
So many do not understand that while homemaking is a fantastic way to honor our families and our homes, it can also be sometimes lonely and a hard life. I try to keep our home for our family as it says in Proverbs:
Proverbs 14:1-The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
Proverbs 21:9- Better to live on a corner of the roof
than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.
We need to work daily on our attitude to make sure our homes are a safe haven for our families.
2. Cleaning and occasionally organizing
I am gonna bare my soul with ya here- when God directed me to do this blog- and with cleaning as well… I kinda laughed. I am not the best housewife but I do strive to be the best daily for my husband and my family. God knows my heart and I think he knows maybe there maybe some housewives out there who are like me out there….
So we can become besties now… Right???
Remember the whole perfectly imperfect from the beginning right?
Here is a little bit about me. I have been a housewife for a little over 17 years now. I am madly in love with my husband. We are junior high sweethearts. We have had our ups and downs but the downs are not something to hide because they have helped to build our relationship up stronger. My husband is a retired Marine. This was a blessing and we got to live in some wonderful places and make some amazing friends.
We were blessed with incredibly beautiful children. Alexis is our talented baking daughter who is 16, Brandon is our insanely warm hearted son who is 13 and my forever baby boy who is a gifted sports fanatic, Cody is 10. We are blessed to be a foster family and help encourage families to get healthy and reunify. We get to show them God’s love through taking care of their precious children. We are absolutely blessed to get to love on these little souls.
